Music at Romsey Abbey Primary School

Music is very important part of our curriculum at Romsey Abbey Primary School. We have an outstanding choir and orchestra who are known throughout the local area for their commitment and talent. We often take part in orchestral concerts and not a week goes by that we are not singing at a concert or school event.  All children have a weekly class music lesson with a specialist music teacher.  Children from Year 3 are encouraged to play a musical instrument.  Our music and drama curriculum is taught by a specialist teacher who ensures that all children have several opportunities during their time at school to perform both in school and other venues.
